At Cassel Rock Trakehners, we carefully select and match stallions to our mares - to bring forth the best temperament and performance.  We select top-quality approved stallions to breed to our mares and we strive for quality rather than quantity - producing only between 2 and 4 foals each year. 

We IMPRINT all our foals. We work with them as soon as they are born and we handle them daily which makes them easier to handle and train. Our babies reflect the love that goes into them. They're all easy to handle and have good minds - they both enjoy and respect people. We also show our youngsters in-hand to get them used to new situations and lots of activity. It makes them easier to back and take new places later.

We offer young horses, foals and pre-foaling sales of foals from our existing pregnant mares for those on a limited budget. If we don't have what you are looking for, we can direct you to our fellow breeders in the United States.  Foals planned for 2004 include foals out of our excellent mares and sired by Leonidas, Pajou, & Happy Hour.
